This vibrant, 100% plant-based sauce is tahini-based, making it rich in easily absorbed calcium from sesame seeds. It is also anti-inflammatory and loaded with anti-oxidants. It’s divine over roasted veggies, kale salad, brown rice or quinoa, grilled tofu, Brussels sprouts, steamed broccoli, and more.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons raw tahini (sesame butter)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoons hempseed, raw sesame, or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt, or to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and process until completely smooth, noting that this sauce will thicken when chilled. Use immediately or keep chilled in an air-tight glass container for at least a week. Enjoy!
