This flavor-rich variation of classic Asian peanut sauce may become your favorite new go-to for dipping spring rolls, potstickers, wraps, raw veggies, or as a luscious salad dressing. In future, you may wish to double the recipe when making it!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of PB2 Powder*** or 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed orange or tangerine juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1 or more tablespoon pure water, as needed for consistency
  • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free tamari or Coconut Aminos***
  • 1 teaspoon agave nector or maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Cayenne or chili flakes to taste (optional)

Directions: Add the PB2 powder, juices, and water and blend well, then whisk in the remaining ingredients, either incorporating the cilantro into the sauce or reserve for a garnish. This makes a great hostess gift too!

***PB2 is a highly versatile, powdered form of peanut butter with 85% of the natural oils removed. A 2-tablespoon serving of PB2 contains about 60 calories and 1.5g of fat, compared to regular peanut butter which has roughly 190 calories and 16g of fat.

***Coconut aminos is a dark, savory, and slightly sweet sauce made from the fermented sap of coconut blossoms and sea salt. Free of soy, wheat, and gluten, this is a popular, allergy-friendly alternative to traditional soy sauce or tamari.
