This rich, piquant dressing is like a rich, tangy ray of sunshine. It is the perfect accent for our show-stopping Chickpea Quinoa Avocado Kale Salad. Once you get accustomed to making your own salad dressings, you will be amazed by how much better they are when compared to bottled commercial  brands. This dressing is not only healthy and delicious, it’s eco-friendly and inexpensive too. It also make an amazing hostess gift in a pretty bottle tied with raffia. Cheers!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seed oil, raw sesame, or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon organic lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon organic orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon white miso or 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

Place all dressing ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. This is especially sublime on our Chickpea Quinoa Kale Salad. Enjoy in good health!
