Rawsome Nut & Seed Milk
Why buy commercial almond milk when you can make your own? DIY is great on every level, giving you a more fresh, wholesome product that’s also very cost-effective.
- 1 cup raw almonds pecans, walnuts, cashews, or a combination—soaked for at least and hours, drained (almonds should be soaked overnight)
- 4 cups pure water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- Raw agave nectar coconut sugar, date sugar or stevia to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan crystal salt
Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender until completely smooth.
When you combine different types of nuts and blend completely, pulp is minimal.
When using only almonds, you may wish to strain almond pulp with cheesecloth or a nut milk bag.
